As November 6, 2021 Anambra Governorship election draws closer every day, aspirants in various parties have continued to declare their interest.
Today, one of the aspirants who wants to vie under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Dr Obiorah Okonkwo, revealed his 10-points agenda, and pillars which he intends to work with when elected.
Okonkwo made this known while declaring interest at the PDP Secretariat Awka.
Dr Okonkwo noted that he would establish three Layers in health sector, vis-à-vis the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors.
This he said would be one of the measures to boost health sector, and subsidy health services.
Okonkwo who is the Chairman, Nigeria United Airlines stated that he would invest more on human capacity, wealth creation among youth, as well as providing other opportunities.
“I will follow security in two ways; conventional and unconventional. Anambra state is a highly moral state and will fight illegal source of income to restore dignity.” Okonkwo stated.
On his part, the Coordinator, Youths Welfare for Dr Okonkwo, Prof Chinedu Ekwealor, disclosed that Okonkwo is most qualified and had acquired a vast wealth of knowledge to attract more development.
The State PDP Chairman, Chief Ndubisi Nwobu who welcomed Dr Okonkwo, added that PDP had every strength and facilities to win the forthcoming election.
