Idoko Sacked As Lobi Stars Vice-chairman

Mr. Mike Idoko has been sacked as the chairman of Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, New National Star reports.

The governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom sacked the embattled chairman of the club a few hours ago and ordered him to hand over to the club’s secretary with immediate effect.

It will be recalled that there were some reports a few days ago that it seems the five years journey of Mike Idoko at the helm of Lobi Stars as the club vice-chairman was gradually coming to an end.

The reports also had it that plans were already underway to sack him and today (Wednesday) barely seven days after, he has been fired.

Idoko took over the mountain of the leadership of Lobi Stars in early 2016 from Mr. Dominc Iorfa who held sway in the team for fourteen years.

However, we can authoritatively report that Mr. Tama Aondofa is likely to take over the mountain of leadership in Lobi Stars if the information at our disposal has anything to by.

Aondofa at a glance: He spent 34 four years in the United State of America. He played for Mighty Jet FC of Jos and some other clubs in Nigeria and the US where he met Randy Waldrum the current Super Falcons coach. He was the link between the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) and Randy Waldrum, the new coach of the Nigerian Super Falcons.
