Infrastructure: Nasarawa poised to remodel 6 LGAs

Nasarawa State Government led administration of Governor, Engineer, Abdullahi Sule has mapped out six local government areas as priority cities for infrastructure development to meet up urban standard.
This was made known to New National Star by the Special Adviser to the governor ,on Urban Development, chief Samuel Gajere Akala on Monday.
The Special Adviser who commended the efforts of the Nasarawa State Government under the leadership of the governor ,Engineer Abdullahi Sule,said the remodeling of these areas became pertinent and a priority in the workings of the current administration .
He said Lafia, Karu, Nasarawa ,Akwanga, Keffi and Doma are the priority local government areas which government has step up efforts toward renewing the infrastructures with the sole aim of remodeling them to the  standard of urban cities.
“At the moment the ongoing construction in keffi is consistent with the idles of government priority to remodeling of these areas to becoming more like the modern urban cities.
“This is why the governor, HE, Engineer,Abdullahi Sule, frankly made his position known that upon recieved of the airport refund to the state he will used the money in completing ongoing projects in the state as roads, provision of social amenities in the state.”
It would be recalled that recently the federal government approved the refund over #7billion naira to Nasarawa state government, being money spent for the construction of Lafia airport.
New National Star reports that under the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule, Keffi local government area has begin to wear a new look with the expansion of roads and the construction of the Antau Bridge ,which was recently commissioned
