Insecurity: Clergy tasks Nigerians on fervent prayers against insecurity

BY WARIYAI DANIEL, YENAGOA.
Prophet Savior Salvation Odunu of the Saviour Deliverance and Covenant Piller International Ministry has admonished christians to be fervent in prayer and seek God’s intervention over security challenges bedeviling the country.
The clergy, who gave the admonition while speaking to journalists on activities lined up for his forthcoming birthday on the 20th of August, urged christians not to allow the prevalence of insecurity in the country shake their faith.
Prophet Savior, who goes by the alias: Korokoro, and has been concerned with the spiritual, physical well-being of Nigerians, blamed the apparent lack of love in the country as what has bred religious intolerance – emphasizing the compelling need for Nigerians to show love to one another as they pray for the country to realise its potentials
Prophet Korokoro also urged Christians to be generous with their possessions and wealth in order to attract more blessings from God, stressing that the success of his church since 2014 is largely attributed to his generosity, total dependence and submission to the directives of the Holy Spirit.
The cleric advised those masquerading as servants of God but using the church for business to desist.
Announcing activities to mark his birthday come August 20th, he noted on Wednesday, the usual weekly fasting and prayer would hold sway, followed by deliverance, healing and prophetic Saturday and then the celebration proper on Sunday which would feature healings and answers to prayers.
NNS reports that the cleric urged the public to join him in celebrating his birthday on the 21 of August at his church: Saviour Deliverance and Covenant Piller International Ministry at Igbogene, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
