The rising cost of food has put Nigerians under immense pressure, thus he called on President Tinubu to step up efforts to stop the country’s food inflation. He also encouraged him to use all available tools to stop the inflation.
On behalf of the people of Osun State and all Nigerians, we would like to appeal to the Federal Government, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as follows:
We request that the FG give the Ibadan-Ilesa expressway immediate attention so that it does not turn into a death trap.
“We also urge the federal government to step up measures to stop the nation’s food inflation crisis.
Nigerians are under immense pressure due to the rising cost of food, hence the FG must use every resource at its disposal to stop the inflationary trend.
We beg the FG to move quickly to take action against the country’s refineries because we know that the price of fuel affects the price of other goods and that the only way we can afford fuel is through local production.
In addition, the organization called for the resignation of Bayo Adelabu, the Minister of Power, citing his ministry’s incapacity to effectively oversee the electricity industry.
It bemoaned that the country’s electrical situation has gotten worse, making life more difficult for the common Nigerian, even as it insisted that the move would be a matter of urgent national importance.
“As a matter of urgent national urgency, we beg President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to reconsider designating Mr. Bayo Adelabu as the Minister of Power. The nation’s electrical crisis has gotten worse, which has made life more difficult for the typical Nigerian.
“The Minister ought to be fired or transferred to another Ministry that better fits his abilities, as he has demonstrated an inability to provide the power sector with the necessary leadership, having failed to manage it effectively.”
