An Israeli strike has killed four Syrian civilians in Lebanon, the Lebanese health ministry says.
Another five people – all Lebanese – were wounded in the attack on a southern village, it added.
Sky News cannot independently verify these battlefield reports.
The reported attack comes the day of Fuad Shukr’s funeral, a senior Hezbollah commander assassinated by Israel in Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, yesterday.
His death – and that of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Iran just hours later – has prompted furious rhetoric from Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who has vowed to retaliate alongside Iran.
