The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (retd.), has assured President Bola Tinubu and the public that Kaduna State is fully prepared and secure to host the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign flag-off on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
Musa gave the assurance during an inspection of Ranchers Bees Stadium in Kaduna, the venue for the rally, as part of final preparations for the event.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by Leah Katung-Babatunde, Special Adviser on Media to the Minister of Defence, the inspection focused on security protocols, crowd management plans and venue infrastructure to ensure the safety of attendees and the smooth movement of dignitaries.
Musa, who also serves as Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Committee on Intelligence, said the state was ready to receive the President, party leaders and supporters expected from across the country.
Thousands of party leaders, delegates and supporters are expected to attend the rally, which will formally launch the APC presidential campaign ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
Preparations across Kaduna metropolis have reached an advanced stage, with local organising committees, security agencies and party executives coordinating arrangements for the event.
