Kebbi NYC Task Youth On Lawful Gathering, Kick Against Protests

The state branch chairman of the National youth council of Nigeria has urged the youth in kebbi state to ensure that, their gathering in whatever form must be permitted by the law, he made the call at his residence in Birnin kebbi, while lending his voice on the just concluded ENDSARS protests that rocked the country some days back, the youth leader explained that, aggrieved youth are permitted by the law to peacefully protest to press the government to meet their demands but not to the extent of trampling on the rights of law abiding citizens.

Comrade Aliyu Bunza described as very vexing the unwarranted attitudes of some youth who engaged on a looting spree, according to him the unsavoury behaviour of the hooligans on the guise of youth cast doubt on the possibility of youth when in government to turn around things particularly at a time when the nation needs them to deliver a sound leadership when finally the old leaves the reigns of power.

Comrade Ali stated that, as representatives of youth in Kebbi they strive hard enough to instill morality amongst youth while they ensure that, whatever belongs to them goes to them, “our efforts are yielding positive results as a large chunk of Kebbi youth are meaningfully engaged in agriculture and other hands trades which most of them learnt from various skills acquisition centers spreads across the state.

He thanked the teaming youth in Kebbi state for keeping calm in the wake of violent protest that consumed lives and property worth billions, he prayed God to give peace to the departed and fortitude to the parents to bear the lost.
