King Charles III, oldest monarch in United Kingdom.

Politics Nigeria is aware that Charles III, who was born on November 14, 1948, has been the heir apparent since he was three years old. At seventy-four, he is the oldest and longest-serving monarch to ascend to the British throne in history.

During her life, his mother Elizabeth II had the title of Queen regnant over 32 sovereign kingdoms, and at the time of her passing, she was the head of state over 15 countries.

Since his mother passed away, Charles, the legitimate successor to the throne, has automatically assumed the role of Head of State for the Commonwealth countries of Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

In addition to his other royal titles and responsibilities, he holds the position of head of the judiciary, the military, and the Church of England.

Prince of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is a regal title traditionally awarded to sons and grandsons of existing and former British monarchs. The title is conferred by the reigning monarch, who is the font of all honors, by the issue of letters patent, as an expression of the royal will. Those who are titled princes will often be bestowed with the title of His Royal Highness (HRH).

In accordance with the aforementioned Letters Patent of 1864, the Sovereign of these Realms, as well as the offspring of any such Sovereign and the oldest surviving son of the Prince of Wales (as per the revised Letters Patent of 1898), shall always possess and enjoy the title, style, and other characteristics of Royal Highness, with the title of Prince or Princess appended to their Christian names or other titles of honor.
