Late Ebere Nwachukwu goes home Friday

The remains of late Mr. Eberechukwu Fineface Nwachukwu will be late to rest tomorrow Friday 10th February, 2023 at his hometown Umudo Kindred Umunneorie Udo in the Ezinihittee Mbaise LGA of Imo state
Aged 65 years, Late Mr. Nwachukwu was born into the great honourable Stephen and Mrs Bernice Nwachukwu Anyahara family (of blessed memory )on 6th January 1958.

He attended primary school at Egbelu Obike primary school in 1966 during which he was nicknamed Ebere nwanne Grace because of the drama he took part in. He did his secondary school education at Holy Ghost College Owerri in 1977 where he obtained the West African School Certificate. He also holds a Certificate in Management and Accountancy.

His career started in Lagos state with the Flour Mills of Nigerian Plc where he rose to the position of Sales manager and later joined Chidiebere Transport Limited Benin city branch in 1988. Later he joined the Nigerian bottling company plc and worked until he decided to go into private business in 2009.

Late Ebere Nwachukwu is survived by his wife Mrs. Tochi Mercy Nwachukwu,four children, two male and one female, brothers, sisters, uncles and other relations including Dr. Obinna Nwachukwu, KSC ( Nze Chukwukadibia of Udo) the Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of Montage Africa Media Limited publishers of New National Star Newspapers.

In his tribute, Dr Nwachukwu described his late elder brother as a kind-hearted, loving and caring man loved by all. “ My late brother meant different things to different people. To us as a family, he was a charming brother, pathfinder, bridge builder, trusted administrator, brilliant orator, comedian, grass-root mobilizer, community leader, singer, wise counsellor and honest man.

“On several occasions, I came to him for advice especially on matters of history and culture, two areas his knowledge was unparalleled. In each occasion, he was very helpful as he provided me most of the information I needed including some critical materials. Indeed, I will really miss him.
“We fervently pray that the good Lord would grant brother Ebere’s soul a well-merited repose in His bosom in Heaven”, he added
