Chairman of Jos South local government Area of Plateau state, Amb. Gideon Dandareng took over the mantle of Jos South LGA on Wednesday with a promise that his new management will develop the local government to a level that will become the envy of other LGs in the state and the country as a whole.
Dadanreng who took oath of office for the 7th time at Jos South LGA, said under his new administration in the LGA, the projects to be executed would be based on the needs of the people and appreciated Governor Lalong for conducting elections into the 17 LGAs in the state and promised that Elected LG Chairman remains grateful to him.
Dandareng added that provision of watertight security to safeguard the lives and properties of his people of Jos South LGA would be given top priority in the Jos South LGA under his new administration.
According to him, Nigerians of goodwill are free to live in any Community in the locality to carry out their lawful business activities.
He, however, warned those with criminal intentions to quietly leave the local government area as security agencies will go after them to face Justice.
Dandareng warned bandits, terrorists and criminal elements to stay away from Jos South LGA.
He promised to set a standard of government in the local government for others who would come after his tenure to emulate.
Dandareng also assured Jos South LGA women that his government will be gender-sensitive and promised the people of Jos South LGA to do his best to justify the confidence the people repose in him.
