Mike Arnold, US mayor, praises Tinubu’s “economic progress” in Nigeria.

NBA club representatives and Mike Arnold, the mayor of Blanco, Texas, have praised President Bola Tinubu’s economic accomplishments.

Arnold voiced his appreciation for the Naira’s floating and the elimination of gasoline subsidies during a reception hosted in honor of former Nigerian presidential adviser and novelist Reno Omokri. He emphasized the good impact these developments have had on the resiliency of the Nigerian economy.

During the event held at the San Antonio Spurs’ official performance center, Arnold stated, “I am particularly pleased also that Nigeria is successfully tackling its foreign exchange crisis, and by blocking loopholes through which institutions like Binance were able to profit, which I fully support what Nuhu Ribadu is doing.”

Arnold continued, saying, “I also commend Reno Omokri for his #GrowNairaBuyNaija initiative. Americans are now familiar with Nigerian companies such as Glo, Dangote, and Innoson thanks to you.

In addition, the mayor is urging Nigerians to support him by signing his petition at www.idpjustice.org, which seeks to upgrade the facilities for the country’s internally displaced people (IDP).

Star player Gorgui Dieng reportedly hailed Omokri for his visit and stated his support for the Nigerian people, according to Daily Times.

He also urged young people in Nigeria to take up sports as a way of developing personally.

The Nigerian economy has recently seen some encouraging changes. The value of the Naira has increased by one-fifth during the last five weeks, which is the most visible of all.

The increase in foreign exchange inflows, which caused Nigeria’s foreign exchange reserves to climb by $1.04 billion in the first quarter of the year, is responsible for this development.
