MNJTF commander orders soldiers to be diligent, have good attitude.

The Multinational Joint Task Force’s (MNJTF) Force Commander, Maj Gen Ibrahim Sallau Ali, has urged soldiers to never lose hope in their skills and capacity for success.

In a statement released on Thursday, Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar Abdullahi, Chief Military Public Information Officer, N’djamena, Chad, revealed that the force commander made the remarks while speaking to soldiers on May 15, 2024, during an operational visit to Darak, in Cameroon’s Far North.

The statement claimed that the visit’s objectives were to raise spirits and evaluate Operation Lake Sanity 2’s advancement.

Ali underlined that in order to succeed in their mission to drive out terrorists from the Lake Chad Islands, self-belief and dedication are crucial.

He expressed his delight with the troops’ performance thus far and thanked them for their commitment and tenacity.

He gave them his word that Operation Lake Sanity 2 is a determined attempt to make sure terrorists have nowhere to hide on the Lake Chad Islands.

Ali reaffirmed his support for the soldiers fighting on the front lines when he went to see troops stationed in Wulgo, close to the border between Nigeria and Cameroon.

He gave the troops his word that they would receive all the assistance needed to ensure the operation’s success.

He thanked the neighborhood vigilante organizations for their efforts and acknowledged the sacrifices they made on behalf of their communities, as well as the intelligence and ground support they offer.
