“This project, which was made possible by the support of the European Union, represents the shared commitment to ensuring communities’ fundamental right to access clean water,” General Ali stressed. Insinuating that other projects will follow if the facility is properly handled, he advised the Litri community to use it sparingly.

In his remarks, Brig. Gen. Oumar Adam Silik, the Sector 2 Commander’s representative, commended the effective cooperation between the military and civilian population. In order to extend these programs to additional communities, he urged partners to continue their assistance.

The European Union-funded collaboration between MNJTF, Defense Council International (DCI), and TRACT SARL produced this vital facility.
