The Senegalese football federation has parted ways with Teranga Lion’s coach, Aliou Cisse
The federation said it had received a notification from the country’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, refusing to renew the contract of the coach which recently ran out
The FSF says it takes note of the decision, and cancels the press conference to present the list of players summoned for the 3rd and 4th days of the qualifiers for the next African Cup of Nations.
Aliou Cissé had been at the head of Senegal’s flagship football team since March 2015. As Senegal coach, he won the country’s first CAN in 2022 in Cameroon.
The same year, he took his team to the round of 16 of the World Cup in Qatar.
