Their Excellences, Mary Mudline Nwifuru, Silifat Abdullahi Sule, and Tobore Oborevwori, being the first ladies of Ebonyi, Nasarawa, and Delta states respectively, would be honored with Golden Heart Award, tagged: ‘Celebrating the Total Woman,’ come April 28th, 2024, by the CEO of Mimibi Academy, Mrs. Mina Iyalla, who doubles as the publisher of You and I Celebrity Magazine.
Others to be honoured along were the representative of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) at Nigeria’s 10th Senate, Senator Ireti Kingibe; former first lady of Benue State, Mrs. Regina Akume, Board of Trustee Chairman, WIMBIZ, Ifeyinwa Ighodalo; former first lady of Taraba State, Barr Anna Darius Ishaku; the Founder of Tivid Orphanage Home Int’l, Mrs. Favour Adah Paul; Mrs. Angela Okewu and the founder, Better Life for Women and Children’s Future Foundation and Better Life for Women Network, Amb Samerra Abubakar Ogwuche.
Throwing light on the award, Mrs Iyalla said that the recipients were selected through a thorough evaluation process with several esteemed panel members and well-meaning Nigerians who nominated the awardee, just as she said the award would recognize and celebrate the achievements of women who lead, inspire, motivate and generally impact society, directly or indirectly.
According to her, It targets to honour women who has used their influence, privilege or workspace to make a difference in the society, adding that it celebrates women of great minds from diverse industries, Women who knows how to balance their home and workspace.
“Not withstanding, it recognizes humanitarians, philanthropists, goodwill ambassadors, excellent entrepreneurs and Women in Long Lasting Marriages because all these and more makes the total woman.”
Activities to be expected in this year’s edition, she went on, include talk show keynote addresses), spoken words, music, cultural display, dance and comedy; presentation of awards and unveiling of Second Edition of You and I Celebrity Magazine.
She went on to mention some of the nominees for this year’s edition, emphasizing on their impact to the society and Nigeria at large.
