Voting for the presidential and national assembly elections in polling units 002, 005, 034, 036 and 038 in Gwagwa ward ln Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), has commenced since 9am.
New National Star gathered that voting is going on smoothly as voters are being accredited, as they cast their votes seamlessly.
Although, there were initial challenge of voters trying to locate their polling units, but the challenge was put to rest shortly.
One of the voters, Emeka Chukwu told our reporter that the election is one of the smoothest he has ever witnessed in recent time in the area.
Chukwu said that this year’s election is different from the precious ones that often experienced overcrowding and unnecessary delays.
Our reporter noted that the seamless exercise in this year’s election is as a result of the additional polling units in the area, which has reduced overcrowding and delays.
