Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, a young midfielder from Nigeria, earned his Inter Milan debut on Sunday when they defeated Leece 4-0 in Serie A.
With the game already won, Akinsanmiro—who had joined the Nerrazzuri from Remo Stars—was brought on in the 76th minute.
He won three duels and generated one opportunity in his 20 minutes on the field.
The 19-year-old is now continuing the legacy of Nigerian players who have played at Inter, including Nwankwo Kanu, Taribo West, Obafemi Martins, Nwankwo Obiora, Joel Obi, and Obinna Nsofor.
With 66 points, Inter has now surpassed Juventus by nine points atop the table.
It was also Simeone Inzaghi’s team’s tenth consecutive victory.
