A heavy truck lorry yesterday crushed to dead no fewer than nine family members
at 0kete village in 0himinin local government area of Benue State.
It was discovered that the incident occurred along 0turkpo/0weto Expressway when the vehicle missed control and collided with nearby building reportedly killed nine family members while others sustained multiples injuries as result of the mishap
An eyewitness disclosed the accident took place when the inhabitants were fast asleep when it occurred.
According to him, what led to the mishap was still a mystery as no one can ascertain the cause of the crash.
While onlookers were attributing the incident to drunkenness on the part of the lorry driver.
When Contacted Police Public Relations Catherine Anene has confirmed the development saying she just received information in respect of the mishap.
