Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the indigenous peoples of Biafra, IPOB, alleged that Governor Nyesom Wike had instructed the police and the army to kill members of the IPOB.
Recall that Wike had signed a decree to strengthen the total ban on IPOB and its activities in Rivers State.
The governor reportedly said: “We are all against the presence and activities of the legally proscribed and anarchic indigenous peoples of Biafra (IPOB) and all that this group represents in Rivers State.
“This is clearly a terrorist group whose existence, beliefs, mission and activities are strongly denounced, even by the Government and the peoples of the states in the south-eastern part of the country.”
Reacting in a tweet on Friday, Kanu said: “Nyesom Wike, little Hitler from Rivers State had a closed-door meeting with lawyers where he told them that any IPOB member arrested should not be brought to justice but instead executed by the army. & police.
“Let Wike know maybe we know. Revenge belongs to the Lord.
