A bill creating the North-Central Development Commission, or NCDC, has been signed into law by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
During a meeting in the Senate chamber on Tuesday, Senate President Godswill Akpabio made this announcement.
He was hopeful that the creation of NCDC would result in grassroots development.
In order to provide development to the people, he added, “Let me also let my colleagues know that Mr. President has also ratified the North-Central Development Commission establishment bill 2024.”
“And as we continue on the path of nation-building, we congratulate the good people of the North-Central region of Nigeria for this and wish them more development and especially peace.”
