Nigeria Premier Football League (NPF)struggling former champions, Kano Pillars have suspended their technical adviser, Usman Abdullah, for three weeks following the team’s poor form in the 21 week old 2024/2025 season
The club also alleged that the coach has lost confidence of its fans following his conduct towards them
The Kano state darling team has continued to post an unimpressive outing since the beginning of the new season were held to a 0-0 draw by Bayelsa United at the Sani Abacha Stadium last weekend.
The four-time champions have recorded just one win from their last three NPFL games.
Usman’s gesture towards the fans after Sunday’s draw with Bayelsa United was deemed inappropriate by the management, leading to the disciplinary action.
In the interim, club legend and chief coach, Ahmed Garba Yaro-Yaro, will take charge of the technical team. He will be supported by assistant coaches Abubakar Musa, Gambo Muhammad, Suleiman Shuaibu, andy Ayuba Musa.
