Ola Aina will not play for Nottingham Forest against Everton in the Premier League, according to manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
Two weeks ago, during Forest’s victory over Manchester United at home, Aina suffered a calf injury.
The full-back did not play in the 2-1 loss to Aston Villa last weekend.
Nuno, though, is optimistic that the Nigerian international will return to action the following week.
“Unfortunately, not for this game,” the Portuguese said at a press conference.
We hope for the next one. It will be evaluated on a daily basis.
“He receives treatment at the training ground for an unknown number of hours, so we are working to get him back as soon as possible.”
