OAU student hospitalized following 50-hour wash-a-thon sets a Guinness World Record

Following a 58-hour hand wash-a-thon, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) 200-level student Subair Enitan was admitted to the hospital.

According to sources, Enitan started a 50-hour hand wash-a-thon on Friday, November 24, 2023, with the goal of breaking the previous Guinness World Record (GWR).

After 58 hours, she finished the marathon on Monday and was taken straight to the hospital.

Enitan was seen displaying her damaged hands while lying down on a bed in a medical ward in a video that is currently spreading on the internet.

“I am very fulfilled to have completed the task right in front of my mom, friends, and colleagues who thronged this venue to show love and support my ambition,” Enitan said in a speech before being escorted to the hospital.
