Veteran actress and mother Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has been involved in an online quarrel with a blogger, the author of posts on Gistlover, a gossip blog.
On Monday, Gistlover posted a montage of the actress and former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomole, hinting at a sexual affair between the two.
Omotola reacted to the post and call the blog post a story that ‘never happened’ made up by ‘sick people’ which was targeted at destroying her career.
“This blog ran a story and people started coming to my page. I have always known that people who are sick will tell you stories that have never happened, but to publish that (story) on a platform as big as Instagram you just be held accountable.”
She then asked her fans to report the blog’s Instagram page, a plea that was met with mixed reactions as most were interested in the proof that the blogger might produce.
One of her followers on Instagram said, “Mama, you have always been my idol from childhood. I love you. I love gist lover too. I love both of you in the same measure. I’m sorry I can’t report that page.”
Although Gistlover took down the original post, on Tuesday through its Twitter handle, @Gistloversblog1, they taunted the actress and laid further allegations. This time the blogger alleged that the fight between Omotola and Genevieve Nnaji was due to the alleged affairs with men and said soon they will release a list of these men.
“My dear Omotola, we will kindly finish what we started boo. Motivational speaker of life. It is not only Oshiomole Aunty Omotee. Tchidi that made you fight with Genevieve then dey the list. Them plenty for the list,” the blogger said.
“Who gave you that name Omosexy? Even your husband can’t deny he doesn’t know some of your shit, saint online, something else beneath closed doors. Let me compile my list finish.”
