As Osun State Clocks 30 years on Friday, 27th, August, 2021, the General Manager, Osun State Agricultural Development Corporation (OSSADEC), Mr Adebayo Oyewole on behalf of the management and staff has said that, the Governor, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola’s led administration has contributed significantly to the growth and development of the entire state in spite of the daunting financial challenges.
The OSSADEC GM made this known in his 30th anniversary of the state’s creation from Oyo State in 1991 congratulatory message to Mr Governor, state executive council, members of the state house of assembly as well as citizens of the state and made available to newsmen in Osogbo the state capital on Wednesday.
Oyewole who said, the state has progressed astronomically in all ramifications informed that there is no doubt about it that the current administration in the state is laying a good solid infrastructural foundation for the prosperity and future of the state.
The OSSADEC boss who congratulated and commended Governor Oyetola for his numerous achievements towards the betterment and development of the people and entire state noted that, Mr Governor has also reawakened the Omoluabi consciousness in the people, which he described as an infrastructure of the mind that prepares them for greatness.
According to Oyewole, “the economy of Osun state has received a huge boost under the current administration in the area of agriculture as Mr Governor is demonstrating his unflinching support to the agricultural development in the state by granting a loan to farmers, provision of seedlings among other areas while his contribution to the development of both the education and health sectors cannot be overemphasised”.
The General Manager, called on the people of the state to always pay their taxes and other levies as at when due, saying this is part of the avenue for them to show their unalloyed support to the current government in the state for them to be achieving and progressing.
The OSSADEC GM however reiterated the readiness of his agency to support farmers in the state in turning the state to food basket of the nation.
