Over 500 people benefit from free tests and treatments by Success Hospital

More than 500 people have so far benefitted from a two day tests and treatments organised on high blood pressure and sugar level by the management of the Success Hospital and Maternity Limited in Gwagwa, a community in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and environs.

The management of the hospital has commenced a two day free tests and treatments on sugar level and high blood pressure.

Prominent among the beneficiaries who spoke to our man was the vice chairman of Okada Riders Association in the area, Nurudeen Alabi, who confirmed that the tests treatments were being done freely, just as he enjoined the government to as a matter of importance and seriousness to be carrying out such activities for the people.

Hailing the hospital management for carrying out such good gesture, he however thanked them and prayed for them, even as he stated that conducting a test on somebody and giving drugs to the person m, according to him must have caused a lot of money.

Speaking to journalists at the hospital, being the venue of the free tests and treatments, were the manager, Chief Jones Mba, Dr Suleiman Yaqub and a midwife, Juliet Obute. The manager informed that they have been carrying out such gestures as social responsibility to assist the government in its efforts of ensuring that free medication gets to the people at rural areas.

Commending the government for trying to bring democracy dividends to the people and informing that about 500 people have so far benefitted from the free tests and treatments on sugar level and high blood pressure, Mba therefore appealed to them to use their good office to do everything legitimately possible to address hardship in the country. He said that he observed with dismay that most families find it difficult to afford three square meals in a day, not to talk of medications.
