Halima Abubakar, a well-known Nollywood actor, has expressed regret for disparaging Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries.
Abubakar acknowledged using social media to hurt Suleman and spread lies about him.
Apostle Suleman and Halima Abubakar’s drama began in 2022 when the actress was bedridden after a fight with the priest.
The actress’s relatives used social media to urge the clergyman to avoid her while she was ill.
However, the actress shared her medical report to refute the many claims that she was suffering from an autoimmune ailment.
But in a letter to the pastor, Halima Abubakar asked Apostle Suleman to apologize.
She also conveyed her sincere apologies for damaging his reputation, hoping that her letter would somewhat mend the harm.
The letter says: “I acknowledge that I falsely accused you, and I also regret what I did and the harm I caused to you, your wife, Dr. Lizzy Suleman, your family, and the Omega Fire Ministry leaders.”
“I respectfully request your forgiveness in this letter, understanding that my apologies cannot make up for the hurt, suffering, and grief I caused. I ask that you find it in your heart to forgive me because I was not thinking clearly at the time.
“I sincerely apologize for any pain and suffering I may have caused you, your family, and your ministry.”
