Paul Pogba promises to appeal CAS doping ban.

Paul Pogba has promised to appeal the anti-doping tribunal’s four-year football suspension.

arguing his innocence and the fact that he has never intentionally taken any drug that would be considered doping at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

Paul Pogba, described as “shocked and heartbroken,” claimed that his career had been destroyed following his four-year sentence for failing a drugs test.

One of the most well-known football players in the world and the most expensive player until recently, Pogba, promised to challenge the career-ending ban, claiming he had never cheated by using an illegal substance.

“I have today been informed of the Tribunale Nazionale Antidoping’s decision and believe that the verdict is incorrect,” the 30-year-old stated in a statement.

That I have lost all I have worked so hard to achieve in my professional playing career breaks my heart. I am also astonished and saddened by this.

“The complete story will become evident once I am no longer subject to legal constraints, but I have never purposefully or knowingly taken any supplements that are against anti-doping laws.” As a professional athlete, I would never use illegal substances to improve my performance, and I have never deceived or mistreated other athletes or the fans of the teams I have played for or against.

“In light of the ruling made today, I will file an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport.”
