Adria Pedrosa, a defender for Sevilla, claimed he had never seen a player like Lamine Yamal, a Barcelona standout.
Following the international break on Sunday, Barcelona will play Sevilla at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys in their next La Liga match.
The 17-year-old Spain international made history by being the youngest player to ever play for Barcelona in a league game.
Since then, the Spaniard has appeared in 62 games for the team, scoring 12 goals and dishing out 14 assists.
In 11 club games in all competitions, Yamal has five goals and an equal number of assists.
He also had a key role in Spain’s success in Euro 2024.
According to Barca Universal, Adria Pedrosa of Sevilla commented on Yamal’s impact on the field, saying, “I haven’t seen a player like him at his age, so decisive.”
“Just maintain your focus throughout the entire game; you don’t need to be infatuated with this kind of player.
“Avoid adding to the pressure you already feel on yourself. I’ve dealt with other outstanding players in a natural way.
