Major opposition figures in the nation have been charged by a Confederation of All Progressives Congress (APC) support organization with hoarding their money while Nigerians suffer.
The APC group explicitly identified Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the general elections in 2023.
At a press conference in Abuja on Saturday, Mohammed Kailani, the organization’s director-general, stated as much.
In his own words: “I recommend that the leaders of the opposition start by planning how to address the issues inside their own political parties.
“They should accomplish this by tackling the complicated issues they face with methods based on facts, logic, and thorough planning before speaking with or offering advice to an administration that is performing effectively.
“The opposition leaders claim to have good intentions for the nation when they make remarks, particularly in light of the fact that Labour Party member Peter Obi maintains about $1 trillion in his bank, Fidelity Bank.
Additionally, Atiku Abubakar had roughly the same amount of money hidden abroad that he might have used to invest in the nation in order to help the vast majority of people find work and escape poverty.
“To overcome the aftereffects of their losses, they have now turned to wishful thinking politics.”
The opposition leaders were encouraged by Kailani, who mobilized support for President Bola Tinubu, to give the president space to concentrate and to cease causing him distractions.
