State chapter of the Opposition people’s Democratic Party PDP in Benue State is said to have enmeshed in controversies over who control the soul of the party in the state.
New National Star learnt few days it was gathered the current caretaker committees of the party were allegedly evicted out of it’s secretariat building belonging to Senator Gabriel Suswam along Oturkpo Road in Makurdi, Benue State.
Similarly the leader of the party in the state and immediate past Governor Chief Samuel 0rtom allocated another to the caretaker committees afterwards.
In recent times there was show of supremacy among the stakeholders over which of Senatorial District to be favour in the ongoing lobby for National chairmanship of the party.
Speaking on the development media aide to Senator Gabriel Suswam Mr Bede Bartholomew denied the claims maintaining that to have evicted them.
