The National President Ohaneze Youths Wing, Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu has called on President Buhari to call for dialogue as a veritable measure to restore peace in the nation.
Mazi Okpalaezeukwu made the call while reacting to the recent address by the President, especially his already designed way to tackle agitations.
Mr Okpalaezeukwu stressed that “every youth has the right to protest or agitation, as a way of expressing anger. But it is for the government or whom it is concerned to listen to their prayer.
“The president or presidency should embrace Psychological operation and standard Communication techniques in responding to agitators.
“As youths, melting violence on them cannot be the solution, but fair hearing and proper dialogue can restore the peace we have been enjoying in this nation.
“In strong terms, we Condemn all these acts of violence among youths and sue for Peace and Peaceful Co-existence.
“We, therefore, urge all aggressive parties to sheet their swords and give chance to dialogue.
“Government can not continue to turn deaf ears to the voices of the oppressed, neither do we hope to remain mute in the face of Injustice.
“On this note, we reaffirm our resolve and commitment to Peace, Stability and Development in South East, Igbo Land and Africa in general”. Okpalaezeukwu said.
