Remi Tinubu: Nigerians overseas do jobs they wouldn’t do at home

Oluremi Tinubu, President Bola Tinubu’s wife, has chastised Nigerians living overseas for taking jobs they could not do in Nigeria.

The First Lady mentioned this in an interview with Arise News on Thursday, March 21.

The former senator, while asking Nigerians to support one another during the economic crisis, questioned individuals who “japa” to take on work they couldn’t accomplish in Nigeria.

“Nigerians, we can help one another.

“It is unlikely that the government will begin to provide food to everyone.

“It is for people God has blessed to help the poor,” she went on to say.

She continued, “Even those who say they are going to Japa go there. What work will they do?

“Work that you refused to do at home with your loved ones, you end yourself doing it.

“Even with all their education, they are driving cabs but won’t drive cabs here.”
