Ronaldo’s mother denies reports of son, girlfriend’s break-up

Dolores Aveiro, the mother of football star Cristiano Ronaldo, has refuted claims that her son and
longtime girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, is having problems in their relationship.

According to reports in Spanish and Portuguese media last month, the striker was “fed up” with the
Spanish model and influencer and they were said to be on the verge of parting ways.

Georgina, 29, had responded by denying a breakup with her partner of seven years, writing in a social
media post, “The jealous makes up a rumour, the gossipy spread it and the idiot believes it.”
Cristiano, 38, also posted a romantic photo of him kissing the gorgeous brunette on his Instagram page
as they shared a meal and drink, writing, “Cheers to love.”

Daily Mail reports on Thursday that Ronaldo’s mother, 68, refuted any suggestion that the footballer’s
relationship with Georgina fell apart overnight by labelling the claims as “lies” when she attended a
store opening in her native Madeira.

She said, “It’s all lies, Every couple quarrels, but what is written is a lie.”

Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been together since 2017 and are currently based in Saudi Arabia after the
footballer joined Saudi top club, Al-Nassr.
