NEW NATIONAL STAR SOUTH EAST ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS AND ANNUAL LECTURE SERIES

SOUTH EAST ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS (SEA AWARDS) will be used as a platform to recognize and celebrate a select group of Distinguished Nigerians from the South East region of the country, for their exceptional accomplishments and contributions to the society in different fields of endeavour and life. It is an award celebration that cuts across age, career and other categorizations. The platform will be used to discuss issues affecting the South East and to encourage inculcation of the “Think Home Philosophy.” All the award recipients will automatically be nominees to the National Award Ceremony that is slated for January 2023 in Abuja.

● WHO IS QUALIFIED FOR AN AWARD?

1. Must have been distinguished as leader and role model

2. Must show evidence of contributing to the growth and success of others.

3. Must show vision and creativity in his/her endeavours and achievements

4. Must be respected by his/her community

5. Must have verifiable presence of investment in the South East or must have impacted the society through act of work.

Every citizen from the South East is qualified. However, nominees MUST have the following attributes:

● HOW ARE WINNERS SELECTED?

Names of nominees can be submitted by the public to New National Star.

A committee will collate and screen all nominees based on character and achievement. The committee will select a final list for each award category.

This award is for deserving individuals only, strictly based on their socioeconomic achievements in the South East Region.
