Shallipopi – Olamide is king of Nigerian street music

Nigerian street music is ruled by renowned rapper Olamide, according to singer Crown Uzama, also known as Shallipopi.

Shallipopi revealed in a recent interview with Naija FM that he included Olamide in his song “Order” due to his street-level fame.

The founder and supreme figure of Nigerian street music is Baddo [Olamide]. Olamide rules the street, therefore I had to include him on “Order,” he remarked, since it’s a street song.

In addition, Shallipopi acknowledged in the interview that he had split from Dapper Music.

According to him, he left the label after his contract expired.

Reports of a breach between him and his previous label were refuted by him.
