Stay away from proposed national protest, Nmakolo advises Niger youths

The Special adviser on political and strategy to the Niger State governor Alhaji Muhammad Nma Kolo has warned youths in Niger State to refrain from participating in the proposed mass protest slated for August.

He noted that youths of Niger State are known to be well-behaved and highly disciplined urging them to continue to exhibit the conducts already known of them.

Alhaji Nma Kolo stated this in an exclusive Interview with the New National Star in his office in Minna on Tuesday.

He stated that the proposed Mass protest to be embark upon by yet- to- be identified group has no meaningful reasons  as the government has already mapped out a plan to address the suffering of the people.

Explaining that Niger State governor Alhaji Umar Mohammed Bago has already  already Constituted a committee to sale grains to all households in Niger State at fifty percent discount to reduce the hardship been experience by  the people

He mentioned the grains to be sold to include, Rice, Beans, Maize, sorghum, Millet among others.

Equally, the special adviser disclosed that sale centers  where the grains will be sale across the twenty-five local governments of the state will be identified at a subsidized price to cushion the suffering of the people.

He explained that civil servants in the state will also be considered in the sales of the grains to be paid on four instalmentals.

He insisted that the government of governor Mohammed Umar Bago has the feeling of his people at heart which necessitated his commitment to better their lives through the sales of the grains at the fifty percent discount.

 The special adviser then appealed to the people of Niger State to continue to exhibit their faith in the leadership of governor Mohammed Umar Bago stressing the needs for the people to pray for him to succeed in his developmental stride.
