Adora said the said the situation has become an incurable cancer ” that has eaten deep into the fabric of Nigeria’s democracy even as we pride ourselves as the giant of Africa”

She said Nigeria as a country has immense potentials, ” but lacks participation of women in politics” adding that ” it is unfortunate that women are so under represented in parliament even when they bring unique perspectives into politics”

Adora further argued that at least the house of representatives speakership should be ceded to women to start balancing the equation of gender equality in Nigeria’s political space”.
