Super Eagles get N200 million donation from Progressive Governors’ Forum.

The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast is under underway, and the Honorable Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, has obtained two hundred million Naira for the Nigerian Super Eagles.

Enoh also praised the zeal of the Progressive Governors’ Forum Chairman, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, and other Forum members for acting quickly in response to the forum’s request to inspire the squad before their semi-final matchup with South Africa.

The Progressive Governors’ Forum has already redeemed the entire amount of two hundred million Naira (#200,000,000) for the players, he said.

“I want to thank the Progressive Governors’ Forum under the leadership of Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo state for galvanizing and redeeming the sum of two hundred million Naira only to the Super Eagles of Nigeria who are currently in Cote D’Ivoire for AFCON 2023,” Enoh said in a statement signed by his S.A. Media, Diana-Mary Tiku Msan, on Wednesday.

“The Super Eagles have proven their unwavering dedication and perseverance in every game, demonstrating that they are headed for another continental triumph and the coveted Cup of Nations.

We must thus mobilize our support for them since they have a tremendous deal of responsibility for making Nigeria, our beautiful nation, proud.

At Bouaké, Ivory Coast’s Stade Bouaké, the Super Eagles of Nigeria are scheduled to face Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the AFCON semi-finals on Wednesday.
