Super Eagles goalie Nwabali set to leave Chippa United

Stanley Nwabali, the goalie for the Super Eagles, is in high demand as a result of his outstanding performances at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Stanley Nwabali of Chippa United, who has been connected to a transfer to Kaizer Chiefs, is a wanted individual.

Nwabali is the starting goalkeeper for Chippa United in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) at the moment.

For the AFCON competition, Jose Peseiro, the head coach of Nigeria, chose to start the 27-year-old ahead of Francis Uzoho.

Nwabali has only let up two goals in his six games thus far, both against Equatorial Guinea and South Africa.

Super Eagles, who haven’t won the continental competition since 2013, now have a chance thanks to his bravery.

Mohammed Lawal, Nwabali’s agent, has now alluded to a significant move for the player.

Saudi Arabia and France are of interest. Lawal stated, as cited by SNL24, “There is no surprise given his performance during the Afcon tournament in Ivory Coast.”

“Kaizer Chiefs linkages are something I’ve only seen in newspapers. I am unable to comment on matters of local interest; instead, please contact the club chairman.
