The Chairman Central Planning Committe of Ngwan Ishi O’Tarok,the orgainsers of Ilum O’ Tarok ,Chief Nanzing Nden has revealed that the Tarok People are set for ecomomic diversification by giving it a thought to encourage entrepreneur and skills acquisition that would promote economic development .
Chief Nanzing Nden stated this in an exclusive interview during a one day seminar held at Tim Tali Motel Langtang,the headquarter of Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau State on Friday,which was aim at sensitizing the Tarok people on the need to embrace entrepreneurship for an all round economic development.
He further said the essence of the seminar was to rejigged the cultural values and reeled out the impact of the environment to the development of the Tarok people,saying the choice of the Three aspect was to bring to fore what is lacking in the area of entrepreneurship, how the they can protect the environment ,embark on social values and also orientations” This what we intend to achieve as a people” He said.
According to him the seminar is a springboard for creating the right path for the Tarok people,which may take time to fertilize but going forward and persisting on orientation it shall surely come to fruition some day.
The Chairman ,however called on the Tarok people to cultivate the right mind set,character and equalized the drive for entrepreneurship and the right skills as well as develop it for wealth creation.
Responding to further questions regarding the Ilum O’Tarok, Chief Nden expressed confidence in the area of security and how properly planed the event is expected to be ,adding that it will be an event full of expectations.
