The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) said its has fixed three vandalised transmission tower members of towers with number 218, 225 and 233 on Katampe – Shiroro 330kV double circuit transmission lines at Daku in Niger State from 9th to 11th, August 2023.
TCN made this known in a visual posted via it X handle (formally Twitter) on Wednesday, showing Engr. Musa Shuaibu, AGM Transmission, Abuja Sub-Region, reporting progress on the team operations from the vandalized cite.
Shuaibu stated that General Manager upon being aware of the vandalization immediately dispatched team from the head office and Abuja sub-region to the cite to restore back the falling transmission tower members.
According to the AGM, the three tower members affected were removed by unknown persons.
