Gbenga Alade has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, or AMCON, by President Bola Tinubu.
The presidential spokeswoman, Ajuri Ngelale, revealed this in a statement on Thursday.
He also introduced AMCON’s other management group.
He added that the Nigerian Senate still needed to confirm the selections.
The President asked the newly appointed officials to demonstrate their unwavering commitment, professionalism, and diligence in order to make sure that AMCON’s operations were more effective, transparent, and in line with his goal of cleaning up the country’s financial system in order to maximize value and boost investor confidence in the Nigerian economy.
