Tinubu Celebrates Akpabio On 61st Birthday

Nigerian Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, was honored on December 9, 2023, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 61st birthday

Special Advisor to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, disclosed this in a statement on Saturday.

Akpabio’s background and accomplishments are still recognized both domestically and internationally, according to President Tinubu.

After serving as a Commissioner in three different ministries before becoming a Governor at the age of 45, the president praised the exceptional leadership abilities of the former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs and Governor of Akwa Ibom State.

In his time in office, the Senate President left behind quantifiable and enduring legacies, most notably the remarkable transformation of Akwa Ibom into one of the nation’s most dynamic and forward-thinking states. Tinubu was impressed by the Senate President’s loyalty, dedication, and commitment over time.

In celebration of the Senate President’s 61st birthday, President Tinubu sent warm wishes to the Chairman of the National Assembly, whose dedication to the country never ceases to instil patriotism.

The President prayed that God Almighty will continue to bless Senator Akpabio and his family.
