Nigerians have received President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s New Year’s greeting.
In 2024, he pledged that his administration would establish a new minimum wage for workers in Nigeria.
This was revealed by Tinubu in his Monday New Year’s broadcast to Nigerians.
He claims that the economic hardships that Nigerians are currently experiencing as a result of the elimination of gasoline subsidies and exchange rate changes will soon come to an end.
He gave his word that his administration is dedicated to making sure every Nigerian is safe.
Since taking office on May 29, 2023, every choice I have made and every action I have taken outside of our borders has been done with the best interests of the nation in mind.
“I will battle against every barrier impeding Nigerian business.”
He declared, “In this new year, we will implement a new national minimum for Nigerian workers.”
