Tinubu says private sector is Nigeria’s main economic engine.

According to President Bola Tinubu, Nigeria’s economy is primarily driven by the private sector.

The President made this revelation to members of the Nigerian business community on Thursday during Iftar in Abuja.

According to him, his administration is dedicated to fostering the expansion of the private sector, which will raise the nation’s economic prospects.

Furthermore, Tinubu noted that the Nigerian economy is at a turning point and emphasized the necessity of steady support from the private sector to sustain growth and prosperity.

Since you are an important member of my constituency, I would have called you before now rather than during Ramadan.

There isn’t an economic driver greater than the private sector. There cannot be development, growth, wealth, or employment if the private sector is not thriving. Not even a mushroom will grow from talks, no matter how beautiful they are.

“I appreciate your persistence. Our economy is currently undergoing a sea change. To demonstrate it, I don’t need to solve a quadratic equation. The President remarked, “I just wanted to thank you for your endurance and perseverance.”

Remember that Tinubu established the Presidential Economic Coordination Council, or PECC, last month? It included 18 ministers, notable members of the commercial sector, and Vice President Kashim Shettima.
