The Theatre Commander (TC) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) Major General IS Ali has charged frontline troops to be more focused, resilient and ruthless as the operation progresses in order to defeat the remnants of the Boko Haram and ISWAP Terrorists in the Lake Chad Basin region.
General Ali gave the charge while on an operational visit in company of the Force Commander (FC) Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) Major General GU Chibuisi to troops of MNJTF sectors 3 and 4 taking part in operation HARBIN ZUMA.
He expressed satisfaction with the bravery and zeal exhibited by the troops.
They were briefed on the ongoing operation including achievements and challenges.
In his remarks, the Force Commander stated that the visit to the troops in the frontlines was aimed at appraising the conduct of the operations.
The FC was accompanied on the visit by the Chief J3 HQ MNJTF Col Kpwang Guy Robert.
