The 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Internal Registration deadline has not been extended, according to a statement from the National Examinations Council (NEC).
This was revealed in a statement on Wednesday by Azeez Sani, the acting director of NECO’s Directorate of Information and Digital Communication.
“The Registration will close on Monday, June 3rd, 2024. It started on Monday, December 18th, 2023,” he said.
According to him, late registration will take place between Tuesday, June 4, 2024, and Monday, June 10, 2024, and will be subject to a late registration fee.
“Candidates, school principals, commandants, state ministries of education, and other stakeholders are enjoined by the Council to reject posts on social media that claim to have extended the registration deadline until Monday, June 20, 2024.
The 2024 SSCE Internal is scheduled to start on June 19 and run through July 26.
During the exam, candidates will be evaluated in 76 subjects, according to the announcement.
