Civil Liberty Organization (CLO) has Calls on Nigerians to use this year feast of St Valentine to foster love, peace and unity.
The Chairman, CLO, Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme made a passionate appeal to Nigerians to properly use this year feast of St Valentine feast on Sunday 14th February 2021 to foster love.
Comrade Ezekwueme who is also a social critic and human rights activist, said peace, unity and selfless sacrifices and services to humanity in tandem with sacrificial suffering life of St Valentine who sacrificed his life for the good of others.
Ezekwueme made the remarks in his 2021 St Valentine feast message.
Our political leaders, civil and public servants and businessmen should emulate sacrificial life of St. Valentine, lives above self and think and act for the common good and social well being of the citizenry.
AS St Valentine died for others to live, we should be able and ready to die for the good of others, which is the lesson and reason for the feast of St. Valentine.
Let us imbibe, embrace and exhibit this spirit and tenets of St Valentine for the better and greater good of humanity.
This period calls for sober reflection to share and show love, empathy and compassion for all humanity irrespective of the tribe, religion or clans cleavage and unconditional.
